CEREC (Ceramic Reconstruction)
Jessica has used CEREC technology since 2006.
Instead of waiting 2 weeks for a crown, filling, inlay or onlay you can now have a tooth done in one visit.
Jessica prepares and designs your tooth via CEREC computer/software and a milling unit/machine makes/mills your tooth whilst you are waiting.
The chosen colour matched material for your tooth is today used in space technology because of it's strength and durability.
Below is more information about this amazing 'new way to make teeth'
Together we will plan your total dental care using these three essential elements:

- Restoration and enhancement of function and appearance
- Continuing care for you
Root Canal Treatment Endodontic - Root canal treatment is a dental procedure that needs to be carried out when the blood and nerve supply of a tooth (known as the dental pulp) become infected by bacteria. Such infections usually occur as a result of tooth decay or traumatic dental injury. Bacterial Infections can spread throughout the root canal system of the tooth, which may ultimately result in destruction of the surrounding jaw bone. Very often this presents as a painful abscess or, in extreme cases, a facial swelling.
White Fillings ,Composite fillings are an increasingly popular choice when opting for fillings as the material can be customised to match the shade, texture and translucency of your natural teeth.
Inlays & Onlays Inlays and Onlays are tailor made by Dental Laboratory Technicians. They can be made in metal alloy or ceramic and hard plastic (Gradia). After preparing the tooth on the first visit, an impression will be taken and sent to the laboratory. A week later the inlay made by the Lab will be fitted onto the tooth.
Diifferent crowns are available. There are metal crowns, porcelain bonded to metal, and also full porcelain, which look like natural teeth. Crowns are extremely versatile and can also be used to align crowding or protruding teeth, close gaps .
A dental bridge to replace a missing tooth can be made in porcelain bonded or full ceramic.
The procedure is completely harmless to your teeth. It is not suitable for everyone and we will need to first examine your teeth thoroughly.
